BackBeat Media is looking for self-motivated, friendly, efficient and organized people to join our sales team. All applicants must be accustomed to working independently and effectively, committed to gaining new clients, and focused on developing relationships with and representing content providers within their designated advertising channel. All applicants must have prior sales experience and be able to demonstrate a strong sales record that includes experience prospecting and growing account lists. Online sales experience relating to the consumer technology industry is preferred.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working to develop advertising channel.
- Proactively developing new advertising accounts.
- Pitching new business.
- Developing and targeting advertising campaigns with clients.
- Always considering creative ways to find potential clients.
- Meeting revenue targets.
- Conducting industry research utilizing all available resources.
- Being willing to take on additional projects to improve overall team effectiveness.
- Becoming an expert on the Internet advertising market and your advertising channel.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, or equivalent experience and proven track record.
- Passionate about online sales.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in selling advertising online or offline and working towards a measurable sales target.
- Efficient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with and ability to complete a large volume of work quickly and regularly.
- Some customer service/client service experience.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
